Why does the app ask for Camera / Microphone / Face ID permission?
Hardware Lab needs temporary access to test each sensor. Nothing is recorded, saved, or uploaded — the test runs live on your device only.
Why does it ask "Allow tracking"?
Free users see ads via Google AdMob. Go Pro ($4.99 one-time) to remove all ads and all tracking permanently.
I bought Pro but ads are still showing.
Open the app → tap Go Pro → tap Restore Purchases. This re-syncs your purchase with Apple.
A test is stuck or showing wrong results.
Force-quit the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, email us with your device model and iOS version.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Hardware Lab Pro is a one-time $4.99 purchase — no subscription, no hidden fees.
